Job Overview:

Adirondack Corp. is seeking skilled carpenters to join our team on a "Pay per build" basis. We are looking for dedicated sub-contractors to help us build our full line of high-quality products. 

About the Role:

As a sub-contractor, you will be responsible for building our products according to company plans and within the allotted time frame. We are expanding our team to meet growing demand and are looking for reliable professionals. 

Our Products

We build a wide variety of products, including:

• Firewood Storage: Firewood Racks, Firewood Stands, Firewood Sheds, Enclosed Sheds

• Outdoor Structures: Utility Sheds, Animal Shelters, Chicken Coops, Benches, Picnic Tables, Wishing Wells, Outdoor Bars, Pavilions

• Materials: Rough Cut Lumber

Our Service Area

Our company services 15 counties across New York and Pennsylvania from our 8 locations. Join us as we continue to grow and provide top-notch products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, assemble, and install wooden structures based on blueprints and project specifications.

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.

• Inspect and repair existing wooden structures as needed.

• Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and to quality standards.

• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

✔ Proven experience in carpentry or construction (1+ years preferred).
✔ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
✔ Knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques.
✔ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
✔ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a plus.
